The crows had a front row seat to admire the last full moon of 2023, even the early evening mist couldn't dull the beauty of the full moon.

A beautiful idea, the 3 birds on the tree are charming! The color dnd mood is great! From a compositional point of view the moon is a bit close to the tree. And the tree seems to lack ground, a bit flying.
Many thanks for your comments. The full image brings in a lot of distractions at the base of the tree - there are a row of houses and a street lamp that I find distracting. I find tighter crops are good, but I wanted more of the tree.
The row of the houses are not an issue, they are quite dark and appear just as a silhouette. I would just remove the window with light.
A "flying" tree is somehow weird for me: the photo looks like ' not grounded'. Shots where I miss the grounding or a tree has too few space between the touchpoint to the ground and the frame often end up in my bin...
When viewing the actual file, rather than the posted image, the row of houses are way too bright and the street light peaking through the trees is a huge distraction. I may try and darken the row of houses (to turn them into a silhouette and remove the street light. That may improve the image.
Had a go at modifying, managed to remove the bright street light, darkened the row of houses and modified the aspect ratio, I think its better.
