Good Timing

While shooting the aurora in the Lofoten Islands this mountain was illuminated for a very short time. It wasn't regular car headlights passing but someone decided to light it up with some powerful lights. It only happened one time so I was fortunate to capture it.

Ian, that's a lot of making some images, right time right place. I'm thinking maybe movie production crew !?!? Not familiar with the area so I can't think what else it could be.
One time while I was in the Bridger-Teton area I heard a film crew was in the area. and one night we drove past the Oxbow Bend area and in the distance on thee other side of the Snake River it was lit up much like you have here. I guess sometime to have full control over lighting a daytime scene they shoot at night, !? .

It's an interesting theory but I think it was just someone with a powerful light. The mountain was lit for no more than 30s and I didn't see it again. I was just grateful for it adding interest to the image.

That's right you did say brief guess I was sidetracked by the image title ;-). I'm pretty go with multi tasking but the brain ain't!
