Im new to the community and wanted to get some feedback on this long exposure. This is the first time I've asked anyone besides my family to give me some feedback and would love to hear what other photographers thoughts are. Im here to learn and any cc is great. Thank you.
Hey Jarod
On a whole, I love it. Very pleasing to look at with, what I think, is a nice balance to the photo. A personal preference of mine though is that I would possibly see if the corners of t railings could be in line with the horizen instead of breaking it; but as I say that's merely a personal thought.
Hope that helps.
Thank you very much for the cc. I'll pay more attention when composing. I noticed that as we left and was looking over the photos on my camera and its been bothering me ever since. I was really curious on your thoughts about colors in the sky. Wasnt sure if it was too much or if i could have gone stronger with colors.
Oh I didn't find any problem with the colours. I think if you had gone for more vivid colours it would have actually killed the photo. It's a low key photo to begin with, so I think everythings fitting together really well.
Bravo!A really nice shot!I'd like a little more light on it and the same as Oliver Heistein about the rails. But as is, it stands really nice to me,too.
Thank you for the cc. Greatly appreciated!
Thank you for the detailed cc. This is the type of cc i was looking for. The harsher the better in my opinion, otherwise id just ask my wife and I don't learn. Im hear to expand my knowledge and get better at photography. Totally understand and agree with you and would have never thought about any of that besides the railing breaking the horizon. Thank you, thank you Jerry!!!
Would you suggest maybe composing from the left of the left railing and use them as leading lines or just scrap the railings completely like the photo below?
