Dawn at Fanad Head

Hi everyone, any constructive feedback on this would be greatly appreciated.

I visited Fanad Head on October 17th early in the morning. All the way there the fog was so thick that I could barely see. My expectation was low, but when we climbed the final hill and came round the corner we were confronted with this beautiful view.

I used three different shots here. One for the land and lighthouse, one for the water and upper sky with a Lee big stopper, and one for the mid sky (I preferred it as it gave better definition on the fog bank, and the shot with the big stopper was slightly over exposed in the centre).

is it me...or is the image slightly tilted? Simple to fix! Very calming colors.

I struggled a little with that myself. The in-camera level said all was good, but it does look a little strange. The problem I think is that the bank of fog was basically in a giant circle all around me, so the bit out to the far left is curving towards the viewer. I found it really hard to satisfy myself as to the straightness of the horizon as a result. In the end I trusted the camera level and left it the way it was.
