Old shot critque

Hi Guys n Gals,

Long time viewer of F stoppers here, relatively new poster!

I'm one to usually go back over my old work and consider how I can improve on it / learn from past mistakes.

Posting for creative critique of said older work, now being a more experienced photographer I can see a few things I would change with it personally such as the side lights being a tad to overblown although at times I feel this doesn't distract from the image, anything that jumps out to you?

I feel like this was shot with a lens a bit too short.

For plus I would say interesting light, I like it and sometimes use in my photos too. It gives nice shape to the model face and adds interesting dimmension.

Problems I see is... Well... subject is too "shiny" - people usually dont shine in darkness :) :) :) It's even increased by vignetting that is look weird and unnatural here. Lastly - quality of the image is pretty low so I cant say too much more about details of the photo. I guess removing most of the photoshop process over this image would help here much :)

Hope this helps,
Cheers
