Picture taken for a young woman's senior portraits. She is a fantastic singer and was up for doing something different.
Any CC is always welcome.
Thanks
Hey, that's an idea, I was so focused on trying to match the images of that era I did not even think about playing around with color.....oooooh, I know what I'm doing this weekend.
Great shot and lovely expression. Maybe the highlights on the face could be lifted a bit more, just to make the face "pop' a little more and compete more equally with the highlight on the hair, which is quite strong and kind of grabs my eye. I think this could be done while still keeping the soft feel of the image.
Really captures the 1940s / early 50s mood: mic is lit flawlessly. Would love to see the beadwork detail on the dress more.
Thanks for taking the time to comment. The dress is actually a flat, texture-less dress, the beading you do see, I think is her brooch.
Really nice, super lighting. i could only suggest sepia toning maybe..

Good points, thanks for the input, I may try some re-edits now that so much time has passed.
