Promising! Good use of that wide-open aperture. I don't like the pole sticking out of the back of his head (you have no idea how often I see that :D ). I'm wondering if you used some sort of a filter on it? I'm not a fan if the tinting.

That was like my first day with an SLR.
And I was overboard with the retouch.
I will try to do better next time.
