I agree, the hard light + brick is really something. At first, the harshness was kind of off-putting but it makes me study it more.
The 2nd shot, I assume, is overhead right? I love that you did that. The biggest takeaway here is that as the light falls off at the bottom of the frame, I do too. The angle of her right leg is nice, but as I look down further it falls apart in a way. The flipside is that in a way that forces me to come back to the top where there's great detail, mood, expression in her pose, hair, the light, the floor, etc etc. I'd probably play with a crop.
Hey James, thanks so much for taking the time to look at the image and provide feedback. It's quite a good point there, and thinking now, I could've easily used a fill light for the bottom. I do like the effect of the the sort of natural vignette, but wouldve probably looked better, had it been lit a bit more from the bottom as well. Good thing I did shoot a few cropped shots here as well. Ill be posting those soon as well
Gorgeous the light in the first image is a bit strong in the lower right though. For my eye it overwhelms her just a bit.

I like the backgrounds as well as the subject but i must say the lighting is a bit much on the first one the face is to bright and the second one is great the only thing i would do is tone the light on the back ground a little bit so its not a hard light maybe.
Love the hard light and brick texture, bottom one is very cool too, great lighting, sexy as well.
Thanks so much for the feedback Joseph! Really appreciate it!
Wow!
