Midday city shoot

Where I live has one little strip of city. Lexi and I walked around for the better part of an hour just scoping out areas and taking some shots. There was this bright open area that I thought would be perfect, but the harsh midday sun was a problem. We turned the next corner only to find this small gazebo type structure, and roped acrossed the top was a black screen for shade. It created the perfect scrim and I am very pleased on this shot. With that said I am open to all constructive criticism to help improve my photography and editing.
