It's a beautifully balanced image, the color/tones and light/dark are amazing. I think the softness Shaun is alluding to is likely just because the focus is a little too far in front of her face -- INgemar hit it on the head there. Amazing connection in the eyes that make it really strong -- nail the focus and I think it's there!
Thanks Shaun, Ingemar and Anton for your comments. Actually The softness is a deliberate editing using a white /light grey gradient that I pulled to about half of the picture. I wanted a really soft look, a film look, as I was going to change a lot of the images from the shoot to B&W. I was just experimenting really. Thank you all.
I like the colour tones! The softness looks like a negative setting on the clarity slider or blurring of the skin during retouching though.
I like your other work, if you just fix that softness I think you would have some world class work! :)
I think its just beautiful. A little frontfocused as I can see the shirt collar is in focus. But really, just beautiful.
