Hey this a good head shot, Well lit, genuine expression, good subject separation, both eyes are sharp and and you have captured a flattering angle of her face. And you have defined her jaw line, great stuff. 3 minor things that I would consider changing.
1.) Iris position: to much of the whites of her eyes are showing, I keep looking at them instead of her actual eye, bring her eyes a few degrees to camera right and you are golden
2.) Catch-light placement: this is connected to the first observation, you have largest, brightest catch-light centered on the white of her eye nearest the camera (viewer) vs her iris which is helping draw attention away from her eyes. Again if you shift her gaze to camera right, this distraction goes away.
3.) Skin Retouching: she has a few pimples and blemishes that i would spot heal or clone out.
Final thoughts: Overall this head-shot is really really close and a few minor adjustments in camera and post next time around and you can take this from being a good head-shot to a great head-shot!
Hope this is what you were looking for, if not please ignore the above and Happy shooting!
This is well and detailed critique. Not much to add here, I would really focus first on framing and composing properly. There is alot of unused, wasted space, and it feels that face doesn't have enough space for itself. Yet good stuff thou, keep good work and good luck :)
