You used an open aperture which blurred the background a little, which is good. Had she been in a consistent lighting, it would have been better. Having the sunlight on all of her hair would have been beautiful. You may also wish to experiment with off camera fill flash to brighten her face a little.

More focus on the subject's face would have helped this photo. But keep practicing. Good photo though.
