You have done great job managing your lights. Shallow dof combined to the use of color and contrast makes your subject really pop out. Post production looks good too. What this picture lacks (as a portrait) is sense of connection with the subject. She's beautiful but feels a distant looking away to something. Therefore this image has more the feel of a fashion shot than a classic portrait. And as you say in the title, this is about her hair making this essentially a fashion image. Then again if her hair is truly the subject, shouldn't the hair be spot on sharp? :)
I like the photo and pose, though the pinky of her right hand looks odd, almost like a thumb. Make up looks great. I guess natural hair can be bleached? Nice job.
The shot as a whole looks great, although as Mika have pointed out, it would have e been awesome to have her hair in focus hence your title. Maybe you have a photo of this very set where your subject is looking into the camera. Great work though.
