Part of a series taken in a lovely old library. Not really a portrait but more of a depiction of a mood. I've tried a cinematic approach to the whole scene since I used a 16 - 35mm lens. Would appreciate CC.
How about....a beautiful environmental portrait! For a standard portrait, it is true that the person's face is not exactly the focal point, but when the whole person is, I think it is fair to define it as an environmental portrait. My eyes still went to her and her face, and then it surveyed the room....that's good I think.
Yeah, it is an environmental portrait . I posted it i this group as there is never any activity in the other group. I like these kind of portraits as there is some kind of context and story.
just my suggestion but maybe crop out the book shelve on the right? just at the middle where the doors open?
I left that in to add more depth to the photograph. Its an environmental portrait so I wanted to show more of the room.
