I had the hardest time figuring out exactly how I wanted to compose this shot. I opted for placing the split, between her and her reflection, near the golden section. It just looked too odd to have it be perfectly centered. Now I'm curious, what would you have done differently?

It's all subjective. 10 different people can have 10 different thoughts on how to crop an image. Here's how I would have done it.
