This has been taken with a 16-35mm lens. My model is wearing no makeup and has had no colour put in her hair. I just pulled her off the couch. I have used a speed lite. The rest is PS. I would appreciate CC to know if its just too dramatic.

Too dramatic for what? It probably wouldn't work for the high school senior, but as a fashion shot or album cover it would be great.
Did you blur face in post-processing?
No. Does it look blurred ?
It looks faintly soft. Being picky, I'd stay the shoulder strap is perhaps slightly sharper than the eyes. And that could be the affect of greater contrast from better light rather than true sharpness. Anyway, it doesn't detract from the image.
If it bothers you, did you put a focus point on the eyes or use focus and re-compose?
From away it looks blurred hm.
