Crits welcomed

Just joined and this is my first post, i'd love to hear your opinions on what works and what doesn't. Is the lighting too flat? Poor composition? Too much post-processing? etc.

Generally excellent version of a difficult look to get right. Applause!

I think that tradition holds that this sort of image has to be shot either on a Japanese manufactured 35mm compact or a GF1 though (maybe the GX85 is going to take over this niche???)

I'm terrible at deducing lighting. Direct flash? Beauty dish close to camera? Gridded strip softbox? Really, I'm useless at this..

Great stuff! You got the model to really get into the part, which is essential in these kind of shots. The image shouts loud, in a good way.

It's not a big point, but I make myself aware of having too many items of the colour red in the surrounding scene. Sometimes it confuses the composition. Not a problem here though. Well done!
