Hello, folks. I finally got most items needed for a ghetto home studio and this is the result from the photoshoot. Please let me know what you think! I am looking forward to any constructive criticism as well. My wife was a very patient model and I think it came out great.
Canon EOS 6D, EF70-200mm f/2.8L IS II USM
ƒ/3.5, 200mm, 1/160, ISO 250
Looks great, retouching not over done, lighting is nice, focus is good.
Possible improvements?
If you are retouching, I wonder if you can get the shade of her lipstick closer to the muted reds in her hair, but don't get me wrong, it is nice the way it is. Also, I see lots of lights in her eyes, I wonder if one of those could have been used as a separation (back light). Just a thought. And lastly, I love it when photographers mention that the beautiful model in the photograph is their significant other....so proud.
Great job!
I'm glad you like it! As far as lights go, I actually have a slight kick on the hair, maybe a little too subtle, but it's from a strobe that is stronger than the always on lights I have on the face. I'll move it a little closer and see what comes out. Thanks for the feedback!
I think it's gorgeous! The lighting looks really really nice.
Thank you!
