Direct Sunlight

Let me hear you guys what you think about it? It was direct sunlight with decent make up not to blow out face highlights

I like it! I wonder how it would look if we could see just a bit more into the shadow on the left side of the face, and I might crop the bottom fourth, as it's not really adding much to the image.

I think it is a solid image. I'm 50/50 on the crop. If the intent is to really cause mystery and maybe even put the viewer on edge a bit, I'd keep it. But if that isn't specifically the intent, I'd probably bring it in from the Bottom Left. I'd still leave some black, but really fill the frame more with her since the lighting is interesting.

The Red lipstick vs Blue eyes is an interesting dynamic.

Whatever is blocking the right side of her face (camera left) is interesting too, since it isn't straight/flat.

thank you for the reply, the sun blockage is actually a corner of the house :) From time to time I shoot this kind over the top Caravaggio lighting, it has nice mysterious aura. Also I experiment with negative space to see how much impact it has in the whole image. It is especially hard with shadows, how much of them to keep :)
