I recently brought my daughters to the beach, for a surf lesson, and they loved it ! Thought it would be worth it to bring my gear (5D Mark IV - 24-70 f/2.8 L II / Elinchrom ELB400), didn't regret it !
Nice sky (even if a little flat to my taste), nice light, what else !
I think it's awesome. I really like the color matching with the board and the swimsuit and the complementary colors.
Did you bring down the ambient, or did you balance it with your flash?
Both, I opened at f/16 to bring down the ambiant light, and pushed the ELB400 at 6.0 to have a powerful flash effect, but balanced (it was really shiny out there, the sun was in her back).
For the matching tones, it was a lucky guess, I didn't see the surfboard before the shoot ^^
