sometimes a photo doesn't quite work out. And other times it ends up looking better than what you had in your head. This shot of Gharrett is the latter.
The lighting, his expression, everything came together to create one solid image that is probably one of my favourites of the set.
There's a lot of light on the left side of his face to not light up his eye some....it would seem. I love the colors.
Love this style. Very telling emotion in the eyes. Question- was this achieved with a gel? I've picked up a pack, wanted to experiment with multiple colors on camera left / camera right speedlights.
