Since moving to New York and picking up a Fujifilm X-Pro2 I have been doing a lot more street photography. This is a natural/available light shot. I had the x-pro2 around my neck and I was controlling it via my phone. Whilst it looks like he is staring me down he is actually looking at the tracks behind me waiting for the B train that never came. I find shooting with the camera remotely really allows me to capture people unguarded. Some of my other shots with the X-Pro2 can be found here: https://www.instagram.com/fujifilmxpro2/
Wow that's a great idea.
How's the AF on that model?
I'm not 100% on the focus yet. It feels pretty fast and responsive, but then upon review I seem to have a much greater miss rate than with my Canon 5 & 6d's. I typically use single point and have the camera setup for back button focusing. But the focus lever is great as I occasional switch to full auto on the street, hoping that it will automatically find someone's face as they walk closely toward me. In this case, using the phone it is quite good clicking on the screen to pick your focus point, but there can be a slight delay/lag in the wifi connection/phone though. I'm using the 35mm 2.0 and 56mm 1.2 apd lenses. Note I do often have a CPL on the camera which will slightly affect things.
