Hi Everyone, I'm just beginning to try my hand at post processing and am having trouble achieving colors that I'm happy with. I've attached this photo as an example. Any feedback would be greatly appreciated.
I feel like the warmth and magenta is too harsh. I would add some dark teal to the shadows to calm it down a little. Also, it should be a little more complimentary to her swimsuit; and it would add blue color the the water and background trees.
Here's before and after quick edit. I masked out the model so it wouldn't add green/blue color to her; also would help her stand out more.
Get an X-Rite color checker and make profiles for each lens/camera combo. Don't use a shitty LCD. The Datacolor Spyder X Pro is on lightning deal Amazon right now for $99...
