Some shots of Italy - CC please

Hi everyone, I've been away from Fstoppers for a few weeks and boy have I missed you. Here are a few shots from my trip to Northern Italy, any CC would be greatly appreciated!

Here's my two unqualified cents.

A trip down the canal: great shot. perfect framing and not the usual Venice shot. perhaps it still doesn't add anything new to the thousand shots of it we already have though. perhaps taking it at sunrise/sunset would give it a more moody, magical feel?

Pedestrian crossing: I love it. I'm guessing it's Milan? I think it's great. I love the dynamicity you get with the motion blur, it brings the photo to life.

Piazza: great shot too. I'm not 100% convinced by the composition. Perhaps a wider angle would bring you in the action a bit more? Also unsure about the two cropped gentlemen on the right. But I like the shot overall.

Colours of Venice: I don't love this one. It's a little flat, not much is going on at all and pretty much everyone has taken this shot, from that or the other side of the canal. there's nothing wrong with it, but it's not saying much (to me).

If These Walls Could Speak: This is outstanding, I love it. Perfect symmetry and it really tells how majestic the Dome looks, especially because of all the tiny people at the bottom. Great shot.

Basilica di Superga: another great shot. Composition is perfect, and so is the light. Awesome. What time of day did you take it? I always get a ray of light somewhere ruining the light uniformity inside...

Wow thank you so much for the CC Giulia. You have some great suggestions!

I have to agree with you about the "Colours of Venice" it is quite typical. I would have loved to have gotten a shot at sunset but unfortunately I was on the train back to Milan at the time.

It was about 4pm at Superga when I shot that.

Thank you again for taking the time to comment! I really appreciate all of your input :)

I think these images are thoughtful and imaginative. With the architectural images, be very meticulous about getting the vertical elements of the buildings vertical in your finished image. When they are even slightly off, it makes for a so-so image. Good work.

Thanks Geoff! Ill make sure yo get the straighter in the future :)
