Great pictures, in fact these are the best travel photos I've seen in a while! What equipment do you take with you on an average trip? Cheers from Austria.
Hi Thomas, thank you for the kind message. These ones were taken with Nikon D750s and the usual lenses I use....either the 50mm 1.4 or the 28mm 1.8. I've started to use the Fuji X series now and had them out on the last two trips away. Fabulous little cameras and the primes (18mm and 35mm) are great but....donn't be fooled.....they are super cameras but they aren't as sharp as the FX Nikons. I love them loads...light, small, handy but when it comes to real detail especially on low light you cant beat FX
50mm + 28mm is a great combination for, especially with the D750, I'd opt for this setup every time over a 24-70. However, with only one body it lacks flexibility, therefore I've paired my D750 with an FM2. Since I'm using an older Sigma 28mm 1.8 and the older 50mm 1.4, both lenses work on both bodies.
I've been playing around with a friend's Fuji X-Pro 1 lately, and I completely agree with you, for me the major downside with this camera is the autofocus, though.
