Hi all,
I'm new here and this is my first post. I've been clicking pictures for a long time but I recently developed interest in shooting videos. Did an unplanned shoot with a friend while we were touring around the streets of Bangkok. Need some honest opinions and reviews on the this video. Would like to know what's and what's bad and how can I make it better.
Regards,
Lohit
The video is nice and emotional, but it's quite long. If it's that long there has to be a well-directed storyline. It's difficult to make a storyline just out of nice emotional moments.
On the technical side there's a jump when the lens is focusing, but that's not from the camera, but the movement of the elements in the lens which is designed for photography, not for smooth focus racking.
Other than that the video is visually pleasing. Color and exposure are balanced.
Thank you so much for the inputs. That was a great advice. Really appreciate it.
The video does have a nice flow, but Lazrov is correct with the focus issues. I know this is with the camera and lens tracking, so it is not much of an issue as it is a distraction.
I do have a suggestion, in the beginning, you are showing the back of a driver with a mirror in the upper left, maybe you could switch focus to this mirror from the back of the driver, it could make it a bit more interesting and moving the focus to the rear. Also if you were in reflection, it would add to the video.
For a video portrait it is a bit long, try and keep these to about 2 minutes. Otherwise, it is very well done.
