An ice light for weddings?

I have seen some amazing examples of the ice light being used for wedding portraits and like what I see. I especially like not having a big umbrella for some outdoor shots that require fill light. Do any of you use one? Do you like it? Examples? I'm loving the examples I'm seeing online, and I think I read an article here about using one for portraits. Thanks in advance! There's always one more bit of gear that looks intriguing! :)

I used to have one that i bought for the same purpose. What do I think of it? I sold it. Why you may ask? well the version 1 of it didn't have the punch required for outdoor usage and indoors when i wanted some fill in light it needed to be pretty close to the subject to cause any real effect and hence most of the time had to be removed in post which made it a nuisance more than a help. I ended up getting a Dedo Light with a dimmer control and I don't regret it a bit. I can open up, close down, spot tight, dim up or down that baby and get the result I want 10 out of 10 times. Mind you the light is no way as soft as the ice light but my creativity does not mind at all. I can visualise 100x more ways to get a unique shot with the Dedo than with the idea light. I guess it all depends on what your style is and what your imagination wants to achieve. Also do remember I am talking about the version 1 of the icelight. Version 2 apparently has more punch power wise but for the moment i am happy with my Dedo so won't be checking the new Icelight any time soon...

I also had the Ice Light but returned it after a few days. Like Percy said, it's gotta be really close to the subject so it just didn't make sense for me. I'm sticking with off camera flash.
