Couple things for me, the skin tones seem really red. Maybe playing with the white balance or HSL would have fixed that.
Another is that I would have lowered the aperture as its not a particularly interesting background, you don't need that much detail in it. Blurring it out so you just have a 'suggestion' of the background would have made the couple stand out more and at the same time, made the background look less cluttered.
You're right about the skin tones! Especially in the groom. I need to form a better eye for that.
For this particular image, the background was actually significant. This was shot on the groom's family farm and the little white house behind them is the house they're moving into.
Thank you for your comment!
I would've loved to see some space between the groom's face and the bride. As it stands now his nose is blending with her face too much for my liking. Also that white area under the couple due to the burn out highlights is very distracting and her pose is not the best. I would've asked her to drop the bouquet, bring that hanging arm back into the shot by perhaps getting her to place her hand on his? also I would've switched positions and get the groom to lean the bride right instead of left and try to put that burn out highlight/reflection on the water right behind then and see if I could get a rim effect on them instead. Lower the exposure and get a bit more detail in the sky? or use a ND4 or graduated filter.
Its a mighty attempt Fumi but just little tweaks here and there can take this photo to the next level. Keep shooting...
Okay, I see what you mean about his nose. As for the highlight on the water, I agree, I wasn't happy about that either. Thank you for the tip about the ND filter. I'll get one and try playing around with it before my next event. As for the bouquet and pose, I was trying for a "swept away" kind of feel. Unfortunately, I didn't achieve that. Thank you for your very thorough critique!
I think I would have leave a little space between the faces, and play with the highlight in that space.
Her pose looks a little uncomfortable, I agree with the bouquet critique.
I would have place them a little more to the left and close the scene.
This is a great capture! Posing looks good!

Good job on this image otherwise!

Amazing shot. Everything is perfect from posing, composition and lighting. Just the skin tone needs to be corrected.
Thank you Shremal!

FINALLY! I've been trying to figure out why the composition's been bugging me for days. Thank you for your suggestion!
I would like to see more contrast from couple to background. Suggest a color grade
Beautiful work! <3
