Wedding photo of the bride & groom after the church with their VW Beetle. Elinchrom quadra used to camera right to light subject. Sigma art 35mm 1.4 & Canon 6d.
Very nice photo, but I'm confused about why the boots are placed in that position. Think it might have been a better shot without the boots, or maybe turn them to face the camera?
The only thing for me is I wish the treeline/ridgeline wasn't cutting through his head. If I had planned for this shot, I would have had a stool or something to get just a few inches higher hopefully being able to have the top of his head come down just enough to have separation.

For me, I assume she wore them for some reason (something blue?). So i think it helps showcase their personality.
I totally understand why the boots are in the photo, just it looks odd how it's placed. But I'm not sure if I could think of something better! LOL
If the boots where turned towards the camera it would be weird, it would be as if they where her feet. I think the boots add a bit of character
Solid photo with good light.

Thanks James, I Agree, i usually look out for this but was under pressure as this was under time constraint.
Absolutely gotcha. I imagine they wanted to hit the road?
Great photo !!! Composition and lighting is solid!
