This couple had a late spring wedding. As luck would have it, it rained all day until about 9 pm. On top of that, wind gusts were up to 30 mph. Made doing many outdoor shots pretty much out of the question. I was able to get the family portraits on the venue's covered patio area, with two people holding the flash gear.
First image was taken after it stopped raining. Winds were still very gusty, I had a wedding guest holding a softbox off camera right about three feet from the couple. Used a simple hot shoe flash. You can still see some movement in the leaves.
Second image was during the first dance. Hot shoe flash on camera, bounced off the ceiling. Edited to get rid of the people in the background and bring full attention to the couple.
Hi, these look pretty good to me, well done, only thing I would say is perhaps darken the back of groom in the 2nd shot. Ed
