What you bring besides your gear.

Hi Guys,

I have post going up on the main page about this, but thought it would be cool to find out what items you find to be a "must" when you set out for a wedding. Is it shoes, a protein bar, a sewing kit? What non-gear makes your life easier?

Sewing kit is huge. So many grooms/groomsmen get new coats and don't cut them before wearing. Also sunglasses that are comfortable to wear on top of my head for easy access. Finally, Mentos gum because it's the fastest breath fixer I've found.

Pen knife, cable ties, 3m Command strip hooks

My Doc Martins, multi-tool, protein bar, energy shot, the couple's names (hate forgetting that one!) And now thanks to Joseph I'm adding Mentos!

I bring an emergency kit. My experience as a stage manager in the theatre world has always taught me to expect the unexpected, and make sure you have it. My emergency kit has everything from wet wipes and tide to go pens, to gum and a small batter powered fan. The fan especially comes in handy for the bride and groom. Safety pins, deodorant, tide to go pen, first aid kit, you name it, I've got a little box and it's probably in there.

Gerber multi-tool, sewing kit, a couple of single use ponchos and the previously mentioned breath mints/chewing gum
