Remote Shutter Control as Second Photographer

Hi everybody, a couple days ago I got my Satechi WTR and because most of the time I shoot alone, I will try to shoot the first view in a wedding using my second camera as second photographer but this time the camera is going to take the pictures by itself with the Satechi WTR , also I will try a delay of 2 seconds and at least 30 photographs.

If any of you have doing this before could you share your experiences , thanks

Sounds like a cool idea! Keep us updated, please!

Yeah I'd be interested to see how you go...

I have toyed with using a wireless trigger on a third camera to get some different shots, but I need to iron out some more technical stuff.

One really good use would be for churches with strict rules about where the photographer can be during the wedding. I'm sometimes stuck in the back shooting long, but a remote camera up front (even if on a timer) would be cool getting wide shots up front. If it is going to fire often, a quiet shutter would be pretty important.

Curious to see how it goes for you!

Ben, it works good I could say perfect, but unfortunately this day 11/21/2015 it was so cold ( 15 degrees Fahrenheit ) that the outside first look was cancelled outside, they decided to do it inside of a very dark building, I'll try to post a couple pics but my other camera doesn't work good in low light conditions :( , but I recommend you totally the Satechi WTR it has incredibly amount of functions or the cheapest version NEEWER® JYC JY-710-C3 for $18 box in amazon

Cool, I'll have to look into that. I use the Cactus V6 system for my off camera flash triggers and they have shutter functionality built in with an additional cable. It always works when I test it, but I've tried it twice at gigs and it flops. Once I get to the bottom of things, I am confident it will be a really good tool to have.
