The Awesome Failing Photographer

This video is for the photographer who wants to give up. Have you ever felt like throwing in the towel when things seem to spiral downward? If you have, you're not alone and I created a video that I hope will inspire you to continue.

Professional photography studio setup with lighting equipment including an umbrella reflector, light stand, and monitor on an industrial stool against a white backdrop.

If you're a photographer who believes in energy or is open to it, I encourage you to watch the video because there is a different way to see your recent failures. As a bonus, we also discuss the importance of adding geometry to your photography!

In life's journey, we all encounter obstacles and challenges that can sometimes feel overwhelming. If everything is energy and energy is alive, so are your old habits or your old life. The idea is something I've spoken about often and even read about in a book by Jenn Sincero called "You are a Badass" which was popular a few years ago. This is about a fight between your old ways versus where you're headed.

It's easy to give up your photographers nowadays. With the rise of AI, increased competition in photography, and a portion of our community offering free work, it's easy to want to give up when something goes wrong.

What I hope you do is change your perspective and see the beauty in failing. It often means the old life and your old ways are doing everything they can to survive. It's my wish that you watch this video if you're on the fence about continuing your photography quests. Keep fighting, because even in the face of failure, there's often something positive to be found. Failing is beautiful if you allow yourself to see the positive and I hope you do.
