The original photo was taken in Juno, Alaska. Before the dog was even able to open his eyes. My wife holding him is in absolute bliss. With my EF L 1.4 24mm lens.
I used masking routines in Affinity Photo 2 to select the original photo and put it on a mat background. The difficulty was to keep the hair looking natural, as the select doesn't work that well. Then I used a Vignette tool.
