I have never seen Lake Tahoe as calm as it was when I captured this image. Driving to this location and looking at the lake from the road you could see every detail of the clouds and mountains.

Excellent. When I went to this location I had to climb down a very steep embankment from the road ( essentially a cliff). Since I was there in late May, the lake was very choppy. How did you get to this location?
Hugh, I went down the same way as you. It is a little easier to walk down a little bit further on the road from the parking area it's not quite as steep there.
I love the colours.
