Final stop

Near Ein Gedi, on the shore of the Dead Sea, lies the research vessel “Taglit” - washed ashore after a powerful storm, and there she’s remained ever since.

I shot her at night, with the Milky Way spread across the sky above her. A panorama of six vertical frames - and a relentless wind that never let up.

There’s something deeply moving about it - a ship that was built to explore our sea, now forever a part of it. And the sky above keeps turning as if nothing happened.
