Magnus the wandering walrus

Magnus the wandering walrus is a young male Atlantic walrus who became an international celebrity in spring 2026 after touring the coast of Scotland and then crossing the North Sea to Norway. Estimated to be about 2.5 meters (8 feet) long, he is believed to originate from Svalbard. He is now traveling the coast of Norway, from south to north.
I had to get a photo of him but I wanted something that no others had taken so I put on my 300mm GM to the Sony A1II and took a portrait shot directly from the front, edited it in Lightroom and Nik silver efex. Some days later I actually sold an aluminum print to an unlucky boat owner who got found Magnus in the back of his boat. Luckily he had Insurance.
