Side 1 of the same coin
The German Navy is retiring the Sea Lynx fleet in 2026 after more than four decades of service, replacing it with the NH90 NFH Sea Tiger.
And remarkably, 83+02 itself has been selected for the Sea Lynx farewell activities in 2026. It has received another special retirement paint scheme and has been touring Germany as the type approaches withdrawal. It flew in that scheme during Kiel Week in June and was documented at Friedrichshafen on 8 July 2026.
