midnight cycle from nocturn album by oviul maruf

This is the second photograph of my Nocturn series. It was captured on the night before Eid, a time filled with quiet excitement and small moments of joy. I tried to translate those feelings—the fun, the anticipation, and the glow of fireworks—into a single frame.

Through long exposure, I turned those fleeting sparks into something lasting. What disappears in seconds becomes a memory that stays. As an independent photographer, I’m always drawn to these moments—simple, emotional, and real—and I try to preserve them in a way that lets them live beyond time.

This photograph is not just light, it’s a memory of celebration before it even begins.
