Pushinka

This is Pushinka. For years, she lived on the streets, enduring a harsh life and giving birth to endless litters. I originally rescued her along with her 4 kittens just to spay her and find homes for the babies. She was supposed to go back to the streets, but my heart couldn't let her go. For the first month, she hid under my bed, terrified. Slowly, day by day, she chose to trust me. In the final years of her life, she didn't hide anymore—she slept right next to me in my bed every single night.
