Some images just have to be in color. We were in Colorado, almost Wyoming a couple of weeks ago. This had one of my very favorite lighting schemes. Clouds were moving overhead as a storm system was moving in so there were parallel streaks of light moving along the floor, and over the landscape highlighting some places and leaving the others in relative darkness; not total, just less light. Crazy thing about photographing in the high mountains is that the sky can go almost totally black, at some angles, with no polarizing filter on. That was the case here.
