This was shot at a small pound in a wetland near my house. There were two Great blue Herons, an American Bittern, an White Egret, and a Night Heron all hanging out in the same pond. It was a great evening if you like birds.
You will see by my settings I was focusing on trying to capture smaller birds, but since the light was so nice where this heron was sitting I took some of it also.
