In between assignments I am always looking for interesting subjects to photograph. I stumbled across Matt Joy on Instagram and when I saw a picture of his place I knew I had to reach out to him. Matt runs an Etsy store and also rents out his items for movies and tv shows. It was awesome spending an hour with him and getting a glimpse into how he finds things and what he is looking for.
This shot was lit with two strobe lights: One directly in front of him ( camera right ) and the other one also camera right but more of an edge with an orange gel.
