A really interesting piece to shoot. I have seen so many knife shot that are all lit in the same way so I wanted to take this to the next level by varying the light on the surface of the blade.
The light on the blade was created with an Elinchrom fiber optic light and multiple images was then combined for this final piece. Blending in photoshop was a crucial part of the process.
