I've been to this park many times, it's one of my favorites. This particular plant was only in bloom like this one time this year that I was able to observe.
It was pure coincidence that it happened to be one of the times I had scheduled to shoot there and I feel pretty lucky. The tones are gorgeous! A light blue / minty green plus the blue jean overalls and the crystal crown all came together to make one of my fav shots from this year!
great job Evan. I can say I would have loved it even more without the white dust things. however, it's still a great shot.
