Exceptional in every way. Thank you for sharing.

Stunningly beautiful Giulia. You know not only how to put on your characters make up (a big plus) - you know how to light, you know how to direct and for me, most importantly, you know how to use your sitters eyes. My days of beauty and fashion shooting have long gone and my portrait work now is more environmental with characters who have, what I like to call, the lines of life. I would love to see you make an identical image as La Poupee Solitaire but with an old woman's face with plenty of lines showing through the make up and a tear making the makeup run (see the last scene on the beach of Visconti's Death in Venice). Great pathos - makes me think of Pagliacci. Just a thought and maybe a challenge :o) This is in no way meant to distract from your excellent work.

Hello Bernard, thank you from the bottom of my heart for your beautiful words!
And about your advice, yes it would be great: shooting with someone crying is one of my future purposes, I need to find the right face :))
I know Death in Venice, Visconti is one of my favourite directors ever.
Many thanks again!

Extremely beautiful. A photo that unleashes a torrent of words and thoughts in the ether.
