Nice work taming the red. I'm sure you've noticed too, but so many cardinal photos have clipped reds or a hue that isn't quite right. This looks like a true to life cardinal, and I know it isn't easy to accomplish.
Very True...very difficult to shoot and process cardinals. conditions should be right especially early morning give very subtle light which prodcue precise colors.
