This photo was birthed from a conversation about the lackluster state of Ghanaian nature photography with most of the talent being focused on portraiture.
We ended up speaking about how a substantial number of our flower images were mediocre. In my effort to explain that it was an issue of perspective and composition.
I decided to show a rarely seen perspective of one of our most common flowers.
My attempt was to showcase the hidden heart of a beauty we've, for so long, taken for granted.
