Lace monitor

I was presented with an opportunity to capture large goanna that unexpectedly ventured into picnic area from adjacent bush. I have tried to capture lizard with fully extended tongue while stepping backward as it was approaching me. I wanted to maintain optimal distance, keep its head in focus and wait for the right moment.
