A very young biker girl eyes me warily in Northern New Mexico. That's her dad in the background and her mom's hand with the can of Bud.
Years ago I entered this in a portrait exhibition juried by Mary Ellen Mark. It received a second place and was a wonderful validation of her influence on my approach to photojournalism.
